XI. Traffic accidents
1.Topic:
Socioeconomic analysis.
2.Indicators:
- Mortal victims: total number of mortal victims in traffic
accidents.
- Women: total number of (female) victims in traffic
accidents.
- Men: total number of (male) victims in traffic
accidents.
- Age of victim: average age of mortal
victims.
- Positive toxicology victims: number of victims in
which the presence of any drug or psychotropic drug abuse is detected,
not taking into account the quantity, or the alcohol concentration in
blood superior to a 0,3 g/L.
- Positive toxicology results:
total number of toxicology analysis in which the presence of any drug
or psychotropic drug abuse is detected, not taking into account the
quantity, or the alcohol concentration in blood superior to a 0,3 g/L.
3.Geographic area:
The information covers the entire national territory. Data is
published on national, Autonomous Communities and provincial levels.
4.Enforcement agencies:
National Toxicology and Forensic Science Institute (INTCF), and
Institutes of Legal Medicine (IML).
5.Temporary coverage:
Information on a daily basis, with data available from 2020.
6.Data update:
The data will be updated annually.
7.Standardisation processes:
We will proceed with the normalisation of the functional units
and geographic data according to the Technical Regulation of the
CTEAJE (regulation of reference for the IT tools in the Administration
of Justice field).
8.Adjustment:
No type of seasonal adjustment, decomposition of temporary
series or similar methods is carried out.
9.Source:
