Methodology

1.Topic:
Socioeconomic analysis.

2.Indicators:
- Firm judgments for crimes: firm judgments for crimes against sexual freedom and integrity, as well as for human trafficking with sexual exploitation purposes registered in the Central Register of Sex Offenders. 
- Precautionary measures: precautionary measures and protection orders in proceedures for sexual crimes. 
- Sentences, measures and other consequences: sentences, measures and other consequences in final judgments for sexual crimes. 
- Sentenced people: number of people sentenced with final judgments for sexual crimes (according to code NIP). 
- Sentenced women: total number of women sentenced with final judgments for sexual crimes (according to code NIP).
- Sentenced men: total number of men sentenced with final judgments for sexual crimes (according to code NIP).
- Sentenced with underage victims: number of sentenced people with final judgments for sexual crimes with an underage victim (according to code NIP). 
- Sentenced with victims of legal age: number of sentenced people with final judgments for sexual crimes with a victim of legal age (according to code NIP).

3.Geographic area:
The information covers the entire national territory. Data is published on national, Autonomous Communities and provincial levels. 

4.Enforcement agencies:
Judicial Organs.

5.Temporary coverage:
Information on a daily basis, with data available from 2019.

6.Data update:
The data will be updated annually.

7.Standardisation processes:
We will proceed with the normalisation of the functional units and geographic data according to the Technical Regulation of the CTEAJE (regulation of reference for the IT tools in the Administration of Justice field). 

8.Adjustment:
No type of seasonal adjustment, decomposition of temporary series or similar methods is carried out.
