Methodology

1.Topic:
Socioeconomic analysis.

2.Indicators:
- Crimes: total number of registered crimes in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).
- Average age: average age of the convicted people registered in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).
- Women: total number of convicted women with registered crimes in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).
- Average age of women: average age of convicted women with registered crimes in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).
- Men: total number of convicted men with registered crimes in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).
- Average age of men: average age of convicted men with registered crimes in the Central Register of Convicted Persons (RCP) or the Central Register of Final Judgments of Minors (RCSFM).

3.Geographic area:
The information covers the entire national territory. Data is published on national, Autonomous Communities and provincial levels. 

4.Enforcement agencies:
Judicial Organs.

5.Temporary coverage:
Information on a daily basis, with data available from 2019.

6.Data update:
The data will be updated annually.

7.Standardisation processes:
We will proceed with the normalisation of the functional units and geographic data according to the Technical Regulation of the CTEAJE (regulation of reference for the IT tools in the Administration of Justice field). 

8.Adjustment:
No type of seasonal adjustment, decomposition of temporary series or similar methods is carried out.
