Sexual assaults with suspicion of chemical submission
The data presented refers to the toxicological studies carried out by the Chemistry and Drugs Services of the National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences (INTCF) on cases of crimes of a sexual nature that were judicially investigated. The study makes it possible to relate the toxicological findings (alcohol, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamine derivatives, opiates and psychoactive drugs) with various variables, such as sex, age, place of events, type of day, autonomous community and province.

- Assaults: total number of sexual assaults with suspicion of
chemical submission in the period indicated.
- Victim age:
average age of assaulted victims in the indicated period.

Toxicological samples: total number of toxicological samples taken
from victims of sexual assaults received and analysed at the
INTCF.
- Positive results - Blood: total number of positive
results obtained in the analysis of toxicological blood samples
received at the INTCF by category of substances.
- Positive
results - Urine: total positive results obtained in the analysis of
toxicological urine samples received at the INTCF by substance
category.
- Substance: substance detected in the toxicological
samples that appears most frequently.

The information covers the whole of the national territory.
Data are published at national level, by Autonomous Community and province.

National Institute of Toxicology and Forensic Sciences (INTCF).

Information on a daily basis, with data available from 01/01/2021.

The data is updated on an annual basis.
7.Normalisation processes:
The standardisation of the geographical data is carried out in
accordance with the technical regulations of CTEAJE (reference
standard for IT tools in the field of the Administration of Justice).
8.Adjustment:
No seasonal adjustment, decomposition of time series or similar
methods are carried out.
